Welcome to Stablewood Coastal Cottages
Stablewood Coastal Cottages was established in August 2011, following the acquisition of Heather Cottages.
The business is family run, whose goal is to provide a personal and responsive service that is centred around having a portfolio of quality holiday accommodation that all have their own uniqueness whilst maintaining a Stablewood Brand.
The business is owned by Tina Johnson and is run with the help of her sons Daniel and Jonathan Johnson.
In 2009, we refurbished Heather Cottages and in July 2012 we added a brand new norweigan log home, this being known today as Brown Owl Lodge. In May 2013 we added a further log lodge this being called Grey Heron Lodge. Both of these lodges are situated immediately behind Heather Cottages.
In July 2013, we have added Lucker Cottages to the Collection, the names of each cottage are Red Fox & Roe Deer. Lucker is situated 4 miles from Bamburgh. Lucker Cottages have been specifically designed & built as luxury cottage to help cater for every need of our guests.
The Business continues to grow and we will adding further units at Heather House in Budle Bay, Apple Row Cottages In Lucker, and Narrowgate( Gernal Lamberts House) in Alnwick the near future.
All of our luxury coastal cottages are based in the stunning North East of England, a region steeped in plenty of enchanting history, stunning views and open spaces.

A Short Walk Away...
What could be more delightful than waking up each morning and strolling along a stretch of beach, that all of the self-catering cottages have access to. Children can enjoy making sand castles while parents look on knowing they are completely safe. Everyone is guaranteed to complete privacy on the mainly deserted beach area so you can let your hair down and enjoy yourself, why not take a picnic or have a barbecue in a sheltered spot watching the waves roll in and the amazing birdlife?
