Alnwick Ford Equestrian Competition & Training Centre is a purpose-built equestrian facility based in the heart of Northumberland.
Situated in Longframlington, Alnwick Ford Equestrian Centre is affiliated to British Show Jumping (BS) and British Dressage (BD) and hosts some of the best equestrian events in the north of England, including British Eventing (BE) Arena Events and Training evenings.

BARTER BOOKS
Barter Books
We highly recommend a trip to Barter Books during your stay in Northumberland. The bookshop is shrouded in history, giving you many reasons to spend your afternoons there.
Inside the bookshop there are three stunning 40-foot murals, a mini-cybercafé and free wi-fi. Here you can enjoy a good read in front of the open fires in winter, or indulge in good food, served in the Station Buffet.
For children, there is a dedicated room with enough toys to play with, giving parents the option to browse elsewhere in peace (provided one guardian is left to look after the children!)
For adults, Barter Books has lined a huge room with over forty glass cases that contain many of the more interesting antiquarian books.
Furthermore, Barter Books is set within a restored station amongst many original features such as the lovely old canopy that has been re-exposed and fireplaces which have been restored back to working order.
