Our log cabins and cottages in Northumberland are located on a private beach in Budle Bay.

Brown Owl Lodge is a cosy log cabin, set within the dunes of Budle Bay sands in Northumberland.  Therefore, its tranquil spot by the sea offers the perfect accommodation for peaceful coastal retreats.

Brown Owl Lodge provides a spacious open plan kitchen, living room and dining area with access to the patio and outside seating area.

The lodge sleeps 4 with one king-sized bedroom and en-suite shower room, WC and wash basin, along with a twin bedroom and bathroom with shower over bath, WC and hand basin.

Private parking is available on site as well as bike storage.

With access to a privately-owned sandy beach at Budle Bay, Brown Owl Lodge enjoys an area of outstanding natural beauty and privacy.

For group bookings, both Brown Owl Lodge and Grey Heron Lodge can be booked with Heather Cottages to create accommodation for up to 34 guests.

Local Area

3 miles away in Lucker you will find two eateries, The Apple Inn and The School House. The Apple Inn is a traditional country pub serving a great food and ales. The School House offers a fresh approach to Breakfast & brunch using local products.

Booking Information 

Payment & deposit information

A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Receipt of any deposit shall not constitute acceptance of any booking until confirmation has been sent. All payment, unless otherwise specified, shall be made payable to “Stablewood Leisure Limited” and sent to the address on the booking acknowledgement.

The balance of the booking is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.
