Here we are in our tenth year and how wonderful it is to look back and see how far Stablewood Coastal Cottages has grown.
From our beginnings in Budle Bay where we opened our first collection known as Heather Cottages, to progressively offering 30 self-catering cottages across three locations in Northumberland, we’re quite proud of how far we’ve come! Add to that – two restaurants (The Apple Inn and The School House), a home for the award-winning Beau monde spa in Lucker, and a first-class indoor equestrian centre in Longframlington – it’s been a busy ten years as you can see from our timeline!
So, what’s next? As our guests continue to have fun escaping to the country and enjoying the beautiful coastal landscape on our doorstep, we do have some plans up our sleeves, which include adding some Shepherd’s Huts in Lucker… we can’t spill all the beans just yet though, so you’ll have to watch this space…
None of this would have been possible without our fantastic guests and every single person who has kept the cogs turning behind the scenes from day one. Those who have worked endlessly to deliver a wonderful experience for everyone who chooses to stay, wine, dine and pamper with us. Their dedication and motivation are second to none and we think they are pretty special!
